Track Open BIM projects

On GitHub you can keep track of the latest Open BIM related projects.

The projects currently running:

• BCF

Enables the workflow communication between different BIM (Building Information Modeling) software tools. This XML schema, called BCF, encodes messages that inform a software package of issues found in the BIM model by another software tool. The implication is that only those issues and not the entire BIM need to be communicated between software and that this simple capability will enable a degree of collaboration.

• mvdXML-experiment

This is an experiment to create a next generation mvdXML standard. Currently a completely new approach to Model View Definitions (MVD) is tested

• BIMSie

A standard API for BIM Web Services to get BIM into the cloud. The goal of this project is to create interoperability for information exchange between BIM-WebServices (interfaces), giving the industry the possibility to innovate with BIM in the cloud. Moreover, this project focuses to create an open ICT ServiceInterface (an API) for BIM-WebServices
