Built for Team Working

The DDS-CAD platform was developed with collaborative team working as its primary design criteria. Each of the DDS-CAD solutions is built on top of a common 3D CAD modelling engine, and shares the same project database. Each storey of the project can be worked on independently in each application, allowing true multi-user access to the model. The building modeller is shared by all applications. The model used in DDS-CAD MEP can be imported directly from Ifc compatible architectural CAD packages, or created quickly with reference to 2D drawings if this is all that is available. The visualisation, co-ordination and collaboration tools are also common for all applications.
